I love the start of a New Year:  I love to look ahead and make plans for the coming year~ vacations (Mexico?  Alaska?), birthday celebrations and the milestones that my kids will be attaining (a 16 year old, my son getting baptized, my 12 year old getting her braces off…); I love the possibilities that seem to exist when we get to start a new calendar in January.  If you are like me, and LOVE the fresh start, I want to hear from you!

Lots of big plans in our house this year! Our 20 year old son joined the army as a medic and leaves for boot camp on Feb. 24th. He will also go to Airborne school and possible ranger school. We leave for the Yucatan Peninsula with a couple of our daughters the day after he leaves which will help with my sadness after he lis gone. We have a summer full of rafting trips and grand kids and a new grand baby coming in August! This will be number 7! We are blessed ♥

I am new to quilting- just finished my 3rd quilt in the past 3 years as I fit it into my work and busy home svhedule. Each one for one grandchild, and I have 3 more grandkids waiting for their own quilts. I love these fabrics and colors you create. Hope I can win these fabrics for my new project.
Also, as an aside- I will share your site with my daughter who loves fabric design and aspires to creating her own design some day. You are an inspiration to us.
