There is a wonderful quilt shop in my neck of the woods- Pine Needles.  It's located at Historic Gardner Village. If you are anywhere in the Salt Lake vicinity and haven't been over to see them, you must!  Gardner Village is a destination for the Holidays…starting with Halloween through Christmas.

The store is open, inviting and the fabric and quilts are fresh and happy. When I sat down with the Store Manager, Holly Draney, she explained her philosophy for buying fabric; “It has to make me happy”. You can feel that when you walk into Pine Needles!  Happy fabrics = Happy Shoppers.

I love the Spacious Store

A fellow Riley Blake designer, Sandy Workman, opened Pine Needles in 1996. It began as a small cross stitch store and has grown and evolved into what it is now…an escape into quilting heaven.

Pine Needles still has a variety of Cross-Stitch patterns available

Holly keeps busy moving displays weekly. Pine Needles has over 50 quilts hanging at any given time and over 100 pillows on the sales floor.  Anyone is sure to feel inspired to pick up a new project when they walk in.

Over 50 Quilts are on Display

The store has classes and events happening all the time. Mark your calendars for November 15th. Pine Needles will host their Holiday Open House.  All employees design “quick gifts”; project ideas in the $5-10 range.  The also have a great website for online purchases.

Everything is so pretty in Pine Needles!
(Southern Michigan really needs a serious fabric shop infusion if they’re looking to expand. Just an FYI~)
Will check out their website and thank you for posting.
Great to see your Zombie Apocalypse line. Love it!
Wishing the best to you all!
